Embracing Joy, Peace and Love

The Holidays are approaching…a time to open our hearts to the many blessings of life. A time for living in the moment and creating memories with family and friends. Though we may hold different ideas, traditions and religions, We are One. Whether we are aware or unaware, the holidays seek to open us to remembering our inner light or Christ, the energy that is always One with God or Creator.

For many it is a time of celebrating the birth of Jesus the Christ, a wonderful teacher of humanity. He lived his light daily teaching and inspiring others on a path taken in love… guiding us to an awakening of our inner light, to become aware of our choices, to embrace our growth, and walk in wisdom. He taught us how to embrace a joyful, peaceful and unconditional love filled life. To embrace this way of life daily begins with desire, a belief in possibilities, as well as living awareness and choice.

Jesus left us with the vibration of his Peace, Joy and Love. We can tap into these energies at any time by simply quieting our mind, breathing and asking to feel…JOY… PEACE… and LOVE…

1-Embracing Joy

Though Joy is a vibration that we can call upon at any time once we learn to calm our minds, living in the moment, there are many factors that inspire us daily to feel Joy. They are plentiful and different for each of us. And, how we react to the vibration varies from a feeling of Joy from inner contentment to Joyful exuberance. Joy bubbles up to fill our hearts. There are many things that may spark our self awareness and inner Joy…

The words and laughter of a child…

The beauty of a sunset, ocean, mountains, forest. We live in a stunning world.

The humor or love of a pet…

Catching a glimpse of a wild animal…

Activities or sports that ignite our passion…

Spending quality time with a friend, family or loved one.

Living an adventure through reading a good book or watching an amazing movie.

A job that fuels our passions, gives back to the world or simply creates a sense of camaraderie…

Giving freely of self as well as, being touched by sincere gratitude of the receiver (opens the heart of the giver and receiver to greater joy).

What sparks your feeling of Joy?

This month, let’s Choose to be Aware of the triggers that spark our inner Joy. Let’s choose to see, feel and create Joy in our life. As we walk in Gratitude and an Open Heart, feel the energy. It may be brief or sustained, but the more we Desire and Become Aware of Joy, the more we will not only awaken, but draw the energy into our lives. In December we will be particularly sensitive to the vibration of Joy as the Christmas angels descend close to the earth for the Holiday Season, gently guiding us to the awareness of our hearts and our inner light.

May we Choose to Walk in Awareness of Life, Acknowledging Joy and Allowing it to Fill our Hearts.

2-Knowing Peace

We often think of Peace as life running smoothly, void of all chaos and drama. Life is a series of choices, chaotic moments and growth. Chaos happens and drama ensues when we choose to react or attach to the chaos.

Peace begins within. As in Joy, Peace is a vibration of energy that we alone can choose to embrace. Once we know this energy, we can choose to hold this vibration throughout the stormiest of days. Once we choose Peace within, we will begin to draw that which is peace-filled into our lives. As drama is a choice, peace is a choice as well.

So, how do we begin to create peace within and without? Firstly, close your eyes and ask to feel the vibration of inner peace. It may be difficult to feel at first in the midst of life. This is why Meditation is foremost in learning to sustain and teach our cells to embrace a higher vibration of love and peace. Through meditation, seeking the silence and light within, we temporarily set aside the daily chaotic thoughts associated with our lives. Our focus becomes the energy of light and retraining our body and mind to the natural state of our spirit with is one with the light…love…peace…and inner joy. It is one with perfection and healing light. It is one with creator or God.

Whether we are aware or not, most of us have experienced moments of inner peace through daily triggers. As babies, many of us were fortunate enough to feel the total contentment of being held safe and loved in our mothers arms. As we have grown, we have created individual triggers that bring about a sense of peace. Some of these include peace-filled music or sound bowls, a warm bath, a long run or exercise, color or healing energy, massage, time with our thoughts, an inspirational book, writing in a journal or sitting in nature, etc. But, when we rely just on triggers, peace feels fleeting. The vibration is always present and within our grasp.

Knowledge is key in living peace. Understanding our energy and the energy of the universe and its law. When we sync into drama or the emotional energy of others it becomes difficult to maintain our peace. Instead, learn to listen with compassion (including our own emotional energies) while maintaining a higher vision. Do what is ours to do for the betterment of the world. Give freely in an an energy of love when and where we are guided.

This holiday, take some alone time, sit in the energy of the Christmas or Holiday Angels. Ask to feel Peace. Really begin to know this energy and bring it into your daily life. Choose to live peace within the chaos. Choose to let drama fall away as drama creates drama. Listen to your own heart from a space of love and you will know peace.

I Choose to Know and Live My Peace, the Peace Within.

3-Becoming Love

The energy and opportunity to love is all around us when we open our eyes and hearts to see. We grow through the experience of “human love” in responsibility, learning to put another’s needs before our own, forgiveness, tolerance, relationships, community and so on. Because it is the source as well as a product of growth, human love can often feel inadequate or transient. It may be based on need, condition or passion. It is emotional. But as we grow our ability to receive and express love on a deeper richer level such as that of parent and child, we begin to tap into the vibration of unconditional love. In other words, the experience of love allows us to grow on many levels ultimately guiding us to knowing self or the light (unconditional love) within.

They often say that “Love is Blind.” Unconditional Love Sees All, Knows All, and Is All. The energy of love is within us. It is the vibration of our higher spirit or Christ, One with God. It is that spark of light that we seek to tap into through Meditative practice, choosing to grow our wisdom and ability to express this divine love in our daily lives.

Unconditional Love is

Forgiving, Tolerant, Peaceful, Brotherhood, Joy Filled, Grateful, Wisdom Expressed, Power, Expanded Vision and Heart, Kindness, Strength, Knowing, Our True Identity.

This Holiday Season, let’s make a commitment to growth to know our true nature, releasing the hold of false truths and perpetuated drama in our lives. Together, let’s see our world healing as we each do our part in choosing to become the love that we are meant to be. Let’s see the perception of separation dissipate into the knowledge of oneness. We are all connected. When we hurt one, we hurt all.

I truly believe that in divine love we will each find our perfect direction and gifts to share. Happy Holidays and a Blessed New Year to All of My Brothers and Sisters. May you know Peace, Joy, Love and Prosperity.
